GoreBox Creator Mode Controls

Creator Mode is GoreBox's unrestricted sandbox tier — the toggle that separates casual spawning from full god-tool access including noclip flight, slow motion, unlimited entity counts, and the complete console command library. Enable it from the pause menu before loading any map, then enjoy invincibility and stat overrides without grinding the Legacy gym. Creator Mode is designed for singleplayer sandbox, machinima, map editor testing, and addon debugging. It is not a multiplayer cheat toggle — official online multiplayer was removed in 2025–2026, and unofficial MPMod sessions follow separate host rules. Boss fights like the Observer and Verse Curse may still strip inventory and disable certain Creator powers until the encounter ends.

Open the main menu or pause screen before loading a map. Locate the Creator Mode toggle — wording may appear as "Creator Mode" or similar sandbox label depending on your v16 build — and enable it. Load Legacy, Pillars, a custom Workshop arena, or a MAPCG export from our Map Editor guide. The game persists Creator permissions for that session until you disable the toggle and reload.

Without Creator Mode, commands like /divine, /setdxt, and motion recording via /rstart refuse to execute. Host commands such as /heal and /title also require Creator or host status. New players should complete the console basics tutorial before enabling Creator tools to understand permission tiers.

Press V on PC to toggle noclip — you fly freely through walls, floors, and props without collision. Noclip is ideal for scouting boss arenas, positioning /freecam shots, and inspecting Workshop map geometry for holes before publishing. Noclip differs from /divine, which adds combat powers, explosive ground slams, and Divine Hands in addition to flight.

Press Z to toggle slow motion globally. Slow-mo affects physics, ragdolls, explosions, and vehicle wrecks simultaneously — perfect for TikTok clips and YouTube montages. Mobile Creator sessions expose equivalent toggles through HUD buttons rather than V and Z keys. Layout varies by patch — check the pause menu if on-screen icons move after updates.

Creator Mode removes spawn limits tied to casual sandbox balance. Scroll the mouse wheel on PC or use the mobile spawn panel to flood maps with GoreDolls, explosives, and vehicles from the weapons and GoreDolls catalogs without hitting caps. Monitor frame rate — thousand-entity piles crash even high-end PCs.
